About Xenye
I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, where curiosity and culture shaped me.
My modelling journey began at the age of six. By the age of sixteen I was teaching at Figures Models SA, the same agency that trained me. I was scouted for Miss South Africa 2011 and placed in the Top 20, an early milestone that confirmed how much I loved the space where expression, discipline and storytelling meet.
I attended the University of Stellenbosch where I studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics and later completed a postgraduate degree in Economics. After university I took a gap year devoted to craft and creativity, training in patisserie in New York and Paris.
I eventually moved to London, where I built a career in investment banking — a world I continue to work in alongside my modelling.
Fitness grounds me, and Pilates and high-intensity training keep me connected to my body no matter where I am in the world.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple passion: to live as fully as I can and share that energy outward. I’m motivated by the idea of contributing positively to other people’s journeys — whether through encouragement, perspective, or simply showing up with intention. It’s why my personal motto is “live it like Xenye” — to take opportunities boldly, experience life completely, and trust that I can hold more than one world at once.
In 2025, I returned to the runway for Milan and Paris Fashion Week SS’26, walking collections for The House of Rina. My recent work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Grazia, marking a full-circle moment in a journey that continues to unfold with purpose.
